Welcome to North Shore Division 12!

My name is Aisling Gilliland, and I’ll be the coordinator for Division 12 for the 2008 Spring season. The transition to Division 12 provides a “step-up” in game excitement and player ability. The girls will now be stealing home and running to first base on a dropped third strike. These changes make for a more fast-paced and exciting game. As you may know, North Shore is a player-centered league with its primary purpose being the enhancement of each girl’s self-image. The in-season games are purely recreational and designed to create a positive athletic experience for each player. For the post-season tournament and all-stars, the level of competition increases. It’s a great season for all levels of players.

I’ll be here to answer any questions and to help us stay organized throughout the season. I enjoy working with the players, coaches and parents and am looking forward to seeing the old familiar faces as well as the new ones. See you in January!
