Registration is now open for the 2024 Fall Recreation Season.  

Fall Ball is a wonderful opportunity for girls to stay acquainted with the game of softball, develop skills, and most importantly HAVE FUN!  Both experienced and new players in the 8U-14U divisions are welcome to participate!

The Fall Ball season runs from late August through mid-November. Games are played on Sundays so that girls can participate in other seasonal sports.  Typically, there is one practice per week at the manager’s discretion. 

Players are assigned to a Division based on their birth year.*

Fall Recreation Birth Year Classification by Division

8U: September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2017

10U: September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2015 

12U: September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2013 

14U: September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2011

*The USA Softball birth year classification for each age division changed effective September 1, 2023.  North Shore is affording those players born between September 1 and December 31, who have completed 2 years in their current age division, the choice to remain in the same age division (for a third year), or move up to the next age division if desired.  Eligible players will choose their preference during registration. This election may be changed at the time of Spring Recreation registration, at which point it will be effective for all recreational seasons (Select/Tide, Spring, All-Stars) through August 31, 2025.

Registration closes August 16, 2024.  Teams will be formed in August and games will commence September 8, 2024.
